Handmade Brazilian Confections
Looking for something new to give your loved one for Valentine's Day? Consider giving Sweet Kiss Brigadeiro a visit! This Kansas City shop is just a few months old, and has some delicious treats and gift box options. The inside is very chic and perfectly pink.

The shop currently offers a variety of flavored Brigadeiro. You can purchase them individually or in several different quantity gift box options. We chose to just grab a couple to try in the store. We tried a Dulce de Leche, Coffee, Half White Half Dark, and a Crunchy Strawberry.
There were a few tart options and some drinks available as well. They had hot chocolate and coffee, as well as a few cold drink options.
I took one of the flavor menus to browse. I loved the aesthetic of the sweets shop and the color theme throughout. It was very cute and tasteful. The gentleman that was working told me that the location has been open for about two months.
He invited us to come back "next week" because they would have a lot more flavor options available. He said it was their goal to fill the case with a variety of choices.
I'd love to go back. I've never had a Brigadeiro, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was sweet, a little chewy and packed a lot of flavor. Each one was very unique and distinctly different. I also loved the way they added texture and different toppings to make the confectionary pieces stand out.
Here are the sweets that we selected. We opted out of the gift box option because we were just going to sit down and eat them, right in the store. We ended up saving a dollar for the packaging.
There was a nice seating area with a comfy couch and some cute décor.
We decided to sit at the table and watch the people walking by on the plaza. Plus we had a stroller and a toddler, so it seemed like a more practical option.
