Homemade Tuna Salad Recipe

a flavorful and easy tuna salad recipe; great for wraps, sandwiches, or on crackers!

I'm not someone who eats tuna all the time, in fact it's my least favorite form of seafood. Canned tuna... yuck. But when I'm in the mood for it, I want it to be fresh, flavorful, and not too wet. There is nothing worse than a runny, sloppy tuna salad. This recipe will give you the perfect flake and perfect consistency. Try it on toasted bread, crackers, triscuits, wraps, and lettuce wraps!

Tuna Salad Recipe

3 cans tuna in water (drained)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp relish

1 tsp yellow mustard

2 tbls chopped onion

1/8 tsp celery seed

4 tbls almond slices

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

juice of 1 small lemon

Mix all of the ingredients together well. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for two hours before serving. Tuna salad will last for 3-5 days in the fridge. Try different combinations of ingredients to create your perfect tuna salad sandwich!
